Thursday class wanted to paint owls using dotting technique but Jane decided to paint more roses on a slate heart.  Jeanie went a bit jazzy with her colours as she wanted to make a calendar – well done ladies! Next lesson will be lace and violets so watch this space!

Hazel chose a spotted material for her bear and painted her buttons pink – I think she is quite pleased with the result – well done!

 

Above, Moira has finished her Teddy Bear -oops she forgot to highlight bear`s nose – must get her to do this next time – Love the buttons made with air dryed clay!  Well done Moira you are gaining more confidence and producing great results.

The Beast from the East Strikes!  A view from the winter garden

Di has finally finished her first quilt – a play mat for her new Grandson – well done Di it looks fabulous.

Above are some finished Babushka painted dolls in the form of door hangings – can`t see the writing above which says  its whats on the inside that counts!

 

 

 

After managing to crack three eggs when drilling, I finally managed to finish off this pretty casket which was quite a challenge. Linda Martin who is a well known egg artist was very kind and talked me through it!

I am going to have another crack at making another casket (pardon the pun)  As the cuts around the egg were not perfect.

Here is another version of my Seaside Ted using different material.  Great fun to do and was finished off at Gill Hobbs workshop.

The above cushion was a kit that I bought which I had great fun making up using different coloured felts.  What characters they look – must make another one!

 

 

Most recent craft workshop at The Milky Way.  Everyone enjoyed making a Folk It heart with simple rose and dotting technique.  Also a picture of my latest painting.  Little Ted at the seaside.  Love this technique using cotton fabric which is painted on except for the hat and dress to produce a cute little Ted!

Also showing above is my latest knitting project made for my little Great Grand daughter Mila.  She loves it.

 

Just recently finished this egg called Valentine Heart which was great fun to do – This design is by Linda Martin who is a fabulous Egg artist and is from one of her amazing designs.

Also my latest egg is called Elegance in Lace and opens in the middle to revel a smaller laced egg which you can pick up.  The drilling of this was a bit scary but I managed not to crack the egg!

 

 

 

 

Had a really lovely break in Playa Blanca in Lanzarote.  Above photos are of a glorious sun set from our balcony and  the other is at the end of a lovely walk to the light house along promenade.  So sad to have to come back to bleak and windy England Ughh!!!

Sheila has now finished her Bunny ballerinas which look so sweet – well done Sheila!Thursday`s class have just finished painting terracotta pots painted with their own design – all very pretty!

 

Thursday Class above produced a nice mix of chick coasters and folk it Xmas cards just before Xmas – well done ladies!

 

At last my  finished cockerel completed at Gill Hobb`s Class just before Xmas – took quite a lot of patience and time as so intricate but worth it in the end!

My next project at Gill`s was a Poinsettia Xmas card using mud paint (white icing lines) with paints to fill in colour – quite an enjoyable project.

 

Ivy has now finished her Chrysanthemums which were painted on contiboard.

 

Di has now finished her textile I pad cover which she created from her own design – well done Di learning how to use the sewing machine again!

 

 

Di is flying now sewing Xmas Bunting – lovely mixture of colours!
