Di has made two cushions on a beach theme using transfer inks. It was her first project and didn`’t she do well!

Below is my latest workshop project – an ipad cover using transfer ink designed material which has been randomly quilted.. I have the pattern if anyone is interested or you can attend one of my workshops to learn how to do this. Please enquire.

I am having an open day plus a craft sale in my Craft Barn. I will be exhibiting some of the students` work plus featuring future work shops. It is to be held on Saturday 29th July from 10.00 a.m to 4.00 p.m. All Welcome. There will be refreshments – home made chocolate cake coffee/tea and squash which can be enjoyed in my secret garden. Admission is free so come along to see what we are up to. If you are interested please let me know.
Di has just finished painting her chicken coasters and is going to have a go at textile design using transfer inks.

Sheila has done poppies on slate as her latest project and is also going to try textile art for her next project.

Moira has completed her Owl picture and is currently painting poppies on slate. She is really improving her techniques and has a lot more confidence.

Below is my latest textile designs using transfer ink. Have now completed a fish wall hanging and cushion covers plus another wall hanging using appliqued daisies.

I have just finished experimenting with transfer ink and these are the finished designs. I made two small hearts and one large (filled with lavender) plus two book covers. The designs were painted with transfer ink onto normal paper and then heat bonded onto polycotton. I will be doing more experiments and have painted a phoenix to put on my hubbies white T shirt – just waiting for the bonding spray to arrive ( you have to use this if using cotton as a base coat).

Here are a few of my latest craft – Egg art! I made a few with beads and the two in the middle are goose eggs which I decorated and have now got the craze! More fancy eggs to follow!

Moira has just finished her first mud painting of daffodils on slate – well done – they look very striking.
